  • +Dear Mayor,

  • +We want to notify you with a heavy heart that we have decided to leave the sinking city of Biarritz to found a new society in the ocean. Because of our love for the city, we want to call our city New Biarritz and inspire people with the great steps the city took in the last 30 years.

  • +Why are we leaving? Because we believe that we need to live close to the water that is now 85% of the planet surface.

  • +Your former mayor said that the smartest city is the city in which its citizens can solve any problem that they face. You democratised innovation and gave every citizen agency to change. We believe that we can only go so far on land, but underwater we have so much more potential: to build small bubbles built by convincing coral to grow in those shapes, allowing every bubble society to find new creative manners to find food, energy and much more.

  • +Using a new technology to manipulate waves, we can use these waves to communicate between bubble societies and learn from each other.

  • +We want to invite everyone who wants to join. It will be hard at first but rewarding to live in connection with the water and the marine ecosystem.
