However, he tried and tried but he could not go back up.\r\n\r\nAt the first dam of the Adour, the human scientists waited for him to come up, but Chalua never arrived and the humans were worried.\r\n\r\nTo communicate with him, the humans used their 7th sense, developed in record time after they became aware that living beings have a universal language.\r\n\r\nBy discussing with him, they understood the primary cause of his discomfort and his allergies: he did not tolerate human excrement discharged into the rivers, and his allergies were becoming more and more frequent because of the repeated floods that caused the sewage treatment plants to overflow.\r\n\r\nHumans came together to find a solution to make Chalua's life more livable: they developed ecological sanitation solutions in the territories thanks to dry toilets with urine collectors. Human dejecta were treated on site to create compost.\r\n\r\nThus, Chalua, cured of his allergies, was able to go up his river and mate with Chaluette. They lived happily, had no more allergy issues, and had many little salmon.\r\n\r\nChalua Junior went back down the river and tried 6 years later to go back up, but he remained blocked like his father.
